Walmart Beauty Box (Fall Edition)

image

To my surprise, Walmart has decided to jump into the beauty subscription services. For only $5 (which includes shipping costs), Walmart will ship a beauty box to you every 4 months at the start of each season.

I was a bit skeptical about what Walmart could offer for $5 per month. I mean after all, there are a lot of beauty subscription services that have been in the business longer and with higher rates, but the offerings have been less than impressive. Nonetheless, I decided  to take a chance and I have no regrets!

After opening the box, I was greeted by 5 deluxed size products and 1 full sized product. Everything was packed neatly and the box itself is not flimsy at all. They really took the time to make the packaging nice. Let's dive into the box's contents.

Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream Moisturizer, 0.5 oz (Full size: $25.99 1.7 oz)

image

Let's face it. Olay products are not cheap so I was pretty happy to see this in my box. It is lightly scented and the cream itself has a nice consistency to it. It is suppose to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time. It is also suppose to exfoliate brighten and smooth. I'm in no rush to use this since even at my age (38), I really don't have any wrinkles but I guess preventing them or at least prolonging the aging process is ideal. Once my current stash of beauty products are exhausted, I'll bring this out. Man, I should be looking like a 12 year old by the end of the year with all of the anti aging products I have been using.

Loreal Revitalift Triple Power Deep Acting Moisturizer, 0.5 oz (Full size: $24.99 1.7 oz)

image

Another moisturizer from the Loreal Paris Revitalift line. Would have been nice if they wouldn't have included two moisturizing products in the same box, especially if they claim to do the same. As with the Olay Regenerist moisturizer, this product claims to repair wrinkles, reforms contours, and help with facial volume. My face is naturally plump and baby like. No more volume for me, please. I will use one day but I'm not in too huge of a rush.

Cover Girl Continuous Color, It's Your Mauve ( Full size: $4.94)

image

While I'm not a Cover Girl fan, I am lippies fan and I was happy to see this in my box and it is full sized! However, I have so many lipsticks in rotation right now so I'm not in a huge rush to open this. This will be put in a box with so many other colors I have yet to use.

Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant, 1.6 oz (Full size: $11.97, 2.6 oz)

image

I've never been a huge Secret deodorant fan, namely do to the price and me just liking the Degree brand of deodorant better. Still excited to try this out though. As soon as my Degree product runs out.

Couture Couture by Juicy Couture, .05 oz (Full sized: $89.00 3.4 oz)

image

I love Juicy Couture perfume samples! I will never be able to afford the full sized products, therefore I am happy to receive as many samples vials as possible! This particular scent smells sexy (Don't ask me what sexy smells. Hell if I know but it sounds good, right?) And I will use this only when I'm rocking a lingerie piece for my guy.

Clear Scalp & Hair Damage & Color Repair Shampoo & Conditioner 0.28 fl oz (Full size: $5.99, 12.9 fl oz)

image

This was the least exciting sample product in the box. Ive received this from other monthly subs but I have yet to use it. I'm partial to Garnier Fructis products and I'm actually getting into more healthier hair products such as Marrakesh and Acure. Plus, this contains sodium laureth sulfate and I'm trying to get away from that ingredient (I'll be kissing Garnier Fructis goodbye because of that ingredient as well). I won't be using this anytime soon.

So basically that is the Walmart Beauty Box for the fall and I must say it's so totally worth the $5! I can't wait to see what the Winter Edition box will offer! Interested in signing up? I have included the link below:

Deep Cleansing Facial Oil Review

image

Before I discovered InstaNatural's Deep Cleansing Facial Oil, I was using a certain name brand makeup remover wipes that was overly scented and harsh on my skin. When I wasn't using that, I would resort to using petroleum jelly to remove my makeup. Although more effective than the wipes, it left my eye area feeling greasy and it was hard to remove that greasy residue. Eeek!

I was given a chance to try Deep Cleansing Facial Oil and I must say, that this product knocked it out of the ballpark! At first, I was hesitant about using an oil based product on my face, but when I read the all natural ingredients, I just had to push for a chance to try this out!

The oil is surprisingly not heavy at all. It's so light that I couldn't even take a great photo of it to post!  It has a nice scent to it. OMG, this product is so effective at removing my eye makeup! It even removes the They're Real Push Up Eyeliner that I've read so many complaints about in regards to how hard it is to remove! This oil removed with two swipes of a cotton pad!

InstaNatural's Deep Cleansing Facial Oil leaves my skin feeling baby soft with no residual buildup after rinsing. I would most definitely recommend using this product as an effective makeup remover. I love it!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Bellafab Skincare Hyaluronic Acid Serum Review

image

I must admit that I have not done anything too much in regards to my facial skincare. I am fortunate to have a babyface and have managed to pass for someone 10 years younger, so taking of my skin wasn't a priority outside of just washing my face.

Now that I am 38 years of age, I am beginning to understand the importance of great skincare and I would like to maintain my youthful skin and face! I just didn't know where to start.

Fortunately, I was given a chance to use and review BellaFab's Hyaluronic Acid Serum and I'm so glad that I jumped at this opportunity!

The serum is super light weight and there aren't any harsh ingredients or chemicals used in this product. There's no oily or film like residue after applying and it leaves my face feeling super soft!

image

I have noticed that my skin is looking a bit more even toned and a bit brighter. While I really don't have any wrinkles, I will continue using this to fight off any that may be planning to invade my face soon!

This serum has become a strong ally in my attempt to ward off any signs of aging. I am truly impressed with this product and I'll choose this over any name brand or department store any day!

BeeSili Ice Pop Mold Maker Review

image

I was given the opportunity to try these wonderful product for a honest review and I am glad that I am able to provide a great review!

In my household, freeze pops and Popsicles reign supreme with my 6 year old son, Semari. In fact, whenever I take him to the grocery store, he is always begging for a box of freeze pops or yogurt pops. With BeeSili, I not only reduce the costs but I can ensure that my son has healthier choices besides the sugar laden and other "not so wise" ingredients found in store bought freezepops.

BeeSili's Mold Makers are BPA free and made from non toxic silicone. It is also FDA approve! You receive a set of 6 brilliantly colored mold makers that are very easy to clean.

After pouring my son's favorite juice into the molds, I placed them in the freezer and waited about 3 hours for them to completely freeze up. I thought removing the tops from the molds would be a chore, but fortunately and surprisingly, the tops came off with ease! It was easy for my son to squeeze the mold maker to get the very last bit of frozen juice with no effort on his part. After the initial testing, the following days, I went to town!

I made frozen smoothie pops, green tea pops, pudding pops, lemon water pops, etc. I am enjoying BeeSili's Popsicle Molds along with my son. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to not only save a few bucks but also wants to ensure the healthiest frozen treats for themselves and their family!
